Woodbridge Museum is delighted to announce that we are producing a new Mini Series of illustrated booklets on various subjects relating to the history of our local area.
The first three titles are: “The Lady Alice Kenlis”, about the hulk on the Sutton side of the River Deben; “The Zeppelin Raid, 1915”, about the bombs dropped on Little St John’s Street and elsewhere in Woodbridge; and “The Voyages of the Thomas,1854-66”, a small cargo boat that sailed from Woodbridge around the British Isles.
Other titles are in the course of preparation, and the next one will be about The Old Cemetery, Woodbridge.
The books are now on sale in the museum shop at a cost of £2.50 each. We hope you will find them interesting and all profits will go towards the costs of running Woodbridge Museum.
