DESCRIPTION:HMS Beehive in Felixstowe WW2 \nBuilt of wood\, heavily armed\, they were extraordinarily vulnerable. \nUnder cover of darkness\, relying on their speed to get them out of range and crewed of volunteer reservists with an average age of 19 they took part in raids\, laid mines\, rescued ditched Allied pilots\, and landed and collected secret agents from the enemy coast. \n  \nALL WELCOME \nAdmission  £4 Members  £5 visitors

DESCRIPTION:A broad chronological look at events\, stories\, personalities of the war with particular references to Suffolk’s involvement. \nTerry has had a long term interest in the first World War\, has been to the Western Front and guided parties there on many occasions. He has also visited Verdun\, the Italian Front and Gallipoli. He obtained a masters degree from Wolverhampton University on Britain and the First World War. DESCRIPTION:An exploration of  cases where perpetrators initially went undetected\, including the abduction and murder of Sarah Payne and the Soham murders. \nMary is a retired forensic biologist who worked for 40 years in London. She moved to Suffolk 10 years ago.
